During the strawberry season, you can add some meringues to the fruits. If you are a foodie you can also add some whipped cream, vanilla or lavender ice-cream.

Lavender meringues are only made for our farm in a traditional biscuit factory

These meringues are made near Montcuq, in the Lot. Biscuit factories in Quercy used to make waffles and meringues. The family biscuit factory of the Saules continues that tradition and makes for us these exclusive meringues flavoured with lavender essential oil.

The story of the Ferme de Lacontal 

These meringues are a tribute to our grandmothers!

Our grandmother Agnès Boissières grew lavender on the farm with her husband from the post-war period to 1968. Her grandaunt the Mémée Catinou had made meringues and waffles in Montcuq since the end of the 19th century... In the 70s her photo still was on the biscuit packs. 

That's why when you will taste our lavender meringues you will discover not only a light lavender treat but also the heritage of our grandmothers!
