» Quercy Essential Oils

In 2006, we planted a first plot of lavender, reconnecting with tradition. Here, our grandparents and many neighbors cultivated officinal lavender until the 1970s.

Both cultivation and distillation are carried out using organic farming methods. Weed control, an important step to ensure good quality essential oil, is done mechanically between rows and manually within rows.

We distill the flowers ourselves on the farm for complete control over the quality of our essential oils. These are guaranteed 100% pure, natural, and integral. Analyses of each vintage allow us to know the different aromatic components. Lavender from Quercy was once renowned for its specific qualities.

In 2018, we also planted Italian helichrysum, also known as immortelle, which is also cultivated and distilled organically. We distilled it for the first time in 2019.

In 2020, we cultivate and distill officinal rosemary organically. After harvest and distillation, we chemotyped its essential oil. It is classified as Rosemary with Verbenone.

In 2021, we now microfilter hydrolats. The essential oil and hydrolat of linalool thyme are available.

In 2022, our range has been enriched with clary sage both in essential oils and hydrolats.

On the map of France, the Massif Central reflects Provence in Quercy like a mirror. To the east lies Provence with its stony, limestone soils, lavender, Prealpine sheep, truffles, and vineyards.

To the west, its reflection in a twin terroir, Quercy. In summer, Cahors, Montauban, Agen, and Moissac are very sunny cities. Caussenard and Lacaune sheep graze there. Cahors is generous with its vineyards. The oaks, including its truffle oaks, are renowned. Quercy actually derives its name from the Latin name of this tree - "Quercuus" meaning "oak."

Quercy is perfectly suited to the cultivation of officinal lavender. Discover its history in a few photos and a text dating back to 1946, which recounts lavender cultivation before 1945 in Tarn-et-Garonne.
